Data transmission radio is a kind of non-public net transmission mode compare with public net transmission mode, used in the field of which can not depend on the public net transmission mode like difference GPS data transmission, earthquake data transmission and other more aspect widely, which has a small size, does not depend on the public net and has no longer delay. It is appropriate to the occasion that has real-time and no massive data to be transmitted. The research of the thesis based on a kind of non-public data transmission mode. The wireless data transmission platform researched by the thesis was a universal platform, which provided formatless data transmission and payed no attention to the specific data format, to be equivalent to the physical layer and data link layer of the OSI model. In consideration of the specialty background, the subject researched and designed for the baseband part of the data transmission mainly.Based on the grasping of the wireless data transmission platform, the thesis took the micro controller LPC2368 possessed ARM7 core as main controller, established the control platform in both transmitter and receiver side, adopted the GMSK as the modulation manner and achieved the modulate and demodulate of the data by using the modem chip CMX589, and established the channel to transmit the data by using the frequency synthesis chip LMX1511.Based on the feature of the one-way transmission, the paper adopted forward error correction code named RS(255,239) as the channel code of the platform, after the processing of RS encoding, interlacing, disturbing and modulating, the data was transmitted by the transmitter block in the signal path has been established, and after the demodulating, striping disturbance, anti-interlacing and RS decoding, the receive data was exported by the receiver block as the platform's output. The paper extended the platform's performance by using the ARM9 integrated embedded Linux system, designed the driver of the frequency synthesis chip LMX1511 under Linux environment, and achieve the net interface with the computer. The computer's net communication program was accomplished under vb.net environment. In the end, the function of this platform was verified by experiment, the experiment result was analyzed, the work that has been finished was summarized and the prospect was programmed.
