The equipment management informationization is one of the important directions of the modern equipments science management. In recent years, the fast development of network technique, especially the extensive application of Internet/ Intranet, provided a stable technique foundation for the implementation of the equipment management system. This paper studied the equipments management system about J2EE technique according to the present condition of equipments management of the large chemical engineering group company in our country, consulting the advanced theories of the domestic and international modern equipments management, considering the characteristics of management of the process business enterprise, and combining the equipment management with chemical fertilizer plant.The present condition and the development trend of domestic and international equipments management are analyzed in this paper. The project of equipment management system using J2EE as technique terrace, taking UML as analytical design description language is putted forward. The requirement analysis of equipment management system is carried on, and the main business function process is putted forward. The typical model is denoted with a diagram, and the possibility of the system is carried on technical, economical and social analysis. The target and principles of equipments management system design is studied. The technical and functional structures of the system are designed. In later detailed design, we chose the equipments management system to set up the design and version of the mold, give a diagram. Moreover, the concept design, logic design and physics design to the database is given, and to each piece the mold is set up and the databases is designed. During the development and realizations of the system, we put forward the key problem in the process and the resolve method, introduce the development process of the system, including the molds of code repeat using design, equipments property management, produce equipments management and foundation equipments management and so on. The movement of the system is introduced with a few typical model pages. At the end of the paper, the capability and the function of the system is tested, it shows that the design and the functions of the system are on the whole accord with the anticipant design request.The system that this paper develops has the following characteristics: the mode setting up through B/ S, makes all customers easily visit the system as long as pass through browser, the resources are sharable, and the staff member is in conjunction with each other. The system can also release some part and allow the specify customer to register, carry out the long range management. It provides convenience for customers change personnel information. Customers can use the system to order and index. It makes the long range management and upgrade. With the assistance of calculator, the work efficiency will be promoted markedly.
