Mobile Ad Hoc network is a new wireless mobile network which does not depend on any other fixed infrastructures to communicate at all. Its mobile nodes can not only be independent wireless network ones, but also be independent routing devices with the function of discovering routes. Mobile Ad Hoc network has a great future, although its main techniques have been the stage of research. Routing protocol is one of the key techniques widely researched today. In this paper, the multipath routing protocol of mobile Ad Hoc network is deeply researched. The Optimized Node-Disjoint Multipath Routing Protocol (ONDMRP) based on AOMDV is proposed, which improves the reliability of the paths in routing table by the following ways: firstly, in the procedure of discovering routes ONDMRP changes the traditional conception of correlation factor of node-disjoint paths to improve the independent abilities of multiple paths one another; secondly, in the procedure of traffic distribution it sets hops and correlation factor as basic essentials for better balancing load; Finally, it proposes the system of making path sleep, which can better save the energy to avoid the busy path to be useless for using up the energy of nodes. In the latter part of thesis, ONDMRP is compiled by NS2 which currently is a popular free network simulation tool. And it uses the end to end average delay, packet delivery fraction and routing protocol load to testify its validity and optimization.
