Research On New Farmers' Weekly Of Free Newspapers To Farmers

At present, farmers' newspapers, in the fierce competition of metropolitan newspapers , are moving forward hardly in China with 0.737 billion rural population and are marginalized intentionally or unintentionally. thus they, against the discrimination of communication are struggling to survive in the plight . However, the studies on the farmer are weakened thanks to the weak status of farmer newspapers.It is impossible not to have the farmers'newspapes play a role in the China's modernization with a big rate of rural population. Farmers' newspapers, as one of important media forms in China, play a inestimable and unreplaced role in serving agriculture and farmers' modernization. The emergence and development of a new-type farmers' weekly subordinated to GanNan Daily Newspaper Group has innovated newspaper model through absorbing concepts and model of free newspapers which are taken by metropolitan newspapers for the competition of market at home and abroad and integrating the farmers' newspaper-operation with its own condition ,thus she has made a big achievements and offered a kind of new model of farmers' newspaper and experiences for the development of farmer's newspapers in China.This dissertation is aimed to study the merits for reference and study of the New Farmers' Weekly and the problems she is encountered by researching and analyzing her operation , and by extension to the feasibility of the free newspaper operation for the survival and development of farmers' newspaper.The dissertation mainly occupied methods of investigation , interview and document analysis. By reading a large amount of documents, I got a comparatively clear view about the history and status quo of farmers' newspapers; through the internship in the New Farmer Weekly ,interviewing deeply the leaders and workers there and the farmer readers , I got a great deal of first precious materials. Through study the new farmers weekly I am in an attempt to offer a little contribution to the study on ignored farmers' newspaper whose number is so few as stars.
