P2P streaming media technology as major means on the internet provide a rich audio-visual content to the users and has been a hot topic of distributed systems long time ago; P2P streaming media systems such as PPLive, QQLive, PPStream, Banacast, are success on commercialized running, this makes them become the application of wide-area hot spots. Currently, the P2P network security has been researched a lot and there were many research results also. But we found it is little for the security of P2P streaming media research compared to other P2P applications.P2P streaming media has its own characteristics, so the safety of P2P streaming media research is necessary.This paper has done the deep research and the discussion on emerging and potential security issues of P2P streaming media service .P2P streaming media security incidents as content altered, content forged and disguised the media server are been analyzed in this paper. For the first two security incidents we were put forward a solution: the peer signatures and user prompts warning. By the peer signing and signatures checking, we enhance the media server and peers upload the data nodes sense of responsibility, and increasing the risk of being retrospective. We identify counterfeit media fragments by using the user prompts warning mechanisms, this can distinguish which cannot through the logic of computer discernment the media content pollution. User prompts warning mechanisms further enhance the network of P2P streaming media content to identify the capacity of pollution.For Pollution of content-based P2P streaming media as major security threat, this article presents a review of content-based security model: The node the signature as well as the user prompt warning integrates the safety mechanism content at the same time, the reference to the current P2P network security research hotspot in reputation mechanism and the introduction of results-based measure of behavior nodes: nodes and contribution credit. Through the node and the contribution of credit to respond to changes in P2P streaming media service security incidents, and based on nodes in the neighborhood node and the contribution of credit accumulation records, the decision nodes such as data download and upload behavior. In addition, content-based review of the security model, each node through the neighborhood warning of the approach to P2P streaming media network node signature found abnormal, the user, such as security events prompted alarm played the role of mass prevention.P2P live streaming media in the prototype system by adding content-based review of the security model of the design, and use it as a platform to test the reliability of the security model, the test results indicated that the P2P streaming media content on the pollution has a positive role in the defense, can effectively resist P2P streaming media against security threats.
