Streaming media services have been widely used on the Internet,traditional CDN technology plays a key role in the distribution of streaming media content,it promotes the development of telecommunications streaming media business. But traditional CDN technology has some limitations,such as the high cost of the deploy.P2P technology is another distribution technology,which improves the network utilization,but the P2P technology takes up too much network resources.Based on P2P and CDN technical characteristics,a new CDN network architecture called PCDN technology is proposed in this thesis. PCDN network takes full advantage of both CDN's fast response and good service quality and the efficient resource utilization of P2P,provides a new solution of streaming media distributions.PCDN technology not only includes the CDN's network resources,but also includes the client's resources.PCDN technology can be built on top of the OneWaveCDN technology.This paper presents a new PCDN push mechanism based on the heat of content,the design of the peer list request algorithm,and the NAT traversal mechanism in PCDN architecture. The PCDN P2P content distribution agreement called OneWaveP2P is defined ,it supports redirection.Finally, by building the PCDN test-bed,this thesis analyzes the perfomance test data based on the schedule delay,system service capability,content hit rate and local service load bance,and reaches the conclusion that compare to the traditional CDN architecture, show the effectiveness and availability of integration of the two distribution technologies.
