The Design And Implementation Of Access & Control Management System In Campus Network

With the development of society and economy, network become a indispensable part of our daily life. It developed so fast and many Universities and companies build their own private networks.As we all know,Access and Control(A&C) part are two crucial parts in the network management system. so How to make A&C part more efficient is a big research issue in this field.The aim of the network management is to maintain the networks work efficiently. In campus network,different network user Accessed the network in different ways.also,there are so many different technology in accessing network,For example:PPPoE,802.1x,web/portal.As the range of the network get larger,the structure of the network get more complex,the network management system is also get more difficulter especially the management of some risk network users.These risks include low efficiency management, unsafe network situation and some risks like that.Based on those issues,the thesis disign and implement the A&C management system in campus network in order to make those problems solved.There are five main means adopted in the system in order to solving those problems: 1)Performance scrutiny platform for network equipments.2)SYSLOG system.3)United network management platform. 4)Multipolicy for managing unsafe network user.5)User self-management fuction module.The A&C network management system increase the effeciency of the network management,release network adminstrator from bundensome network management works.also, the most important, users feel less restriction and much safer in surfing the Internet.
