The torque control of metro vehicle is the significant factor in train running. And the traction convertor is the most important device of the whole traction system. Besides the torque control is the key point of convertor technology. The thesis mainly studies the solution of traction torque control. The train communication network is designed for monitoring the result of torque control.First, the thesis introduces the research status que of metro vehicle torque control. The high performance AC speed-adjustment methods, applied in metro vehicle, are analysed as well. Then the present research status of train communication network and CANopen bus protocol are introduced briefly.Adopt programmable logical controller and its sub-module to construct train communication network. The software of network, including CANopen message and its application layer functions, are designed as well. According to the running requirement, the torque control of traction motor and inverter PWM control method are both studied. The vector control is used to control control traction torque. The current hysteresis band PWM and optimal PWM panel are used to implement the PWM control of inverter.The monitoring is implemented by signal interface between convertor and network system. The curve from monitoring screen is used for analyzing the result of torque control. The curve shows the solution of torque control, studied in the thesis, is able to fully saticfy the running requirementNow, the traction and network system are testing and debugging for delivering to customer. So the thesis is worth of engineering.
