Web2.0 is an extended application mode based on Web1.0, which indicates Web becomes much more interactive. Web before is mostly an information platform with a low interactive level. Web based on Web2.0 style is a platform which can provide users much more interactive functions.Stream media technology base on internet develops very fast and is widely used in many fields, such as news release, live online, network advertising, remote education, realtime video conference and so on. The development of broadband network offers a better environment for stream media application. With the integration of traditional media market and broadband network, there are many new applications appears such as VOD (Video-On-Demand), online music, online toll television and so on. The development of web based on Web2.0 style and widely usage of stream media technology offers a good environment for the realization of online stream media publish platform.C/S (Client/Server) software architecture is the traditional application framework. C/S software has a high performance in data processing. But C/S has limitation under current conditions such as high-cost deployment,difficult update in client and so on. In the nineties of the 20th century, Web1.0B/S (Browse/Server) application appears with the fast development of Internet. The limitation of high-cost deployment and difficult update is broken by the widely use of Web B/S application framework. Also Web1.0B/S is limited by the DHTML's low effection in UI and user experience. A new application mode based on Web is strongly needed to realize higher complex application in perfomance and user experience.A stream media plateform is introduced in this article.The platform is based on Web2.0 style which means a higher performance in user interface and interactivity. A RIA (Rich Internet Application) framework is introduced to design and realize presentation layer.Adobe Flex technology under RIA framework is chosen to realize part-update effection, lower data exchange and rich user experience.
