Admittedly, the word of Web2. 0 appeared on the Web frequently in 2005. Whether Web2. 0 will give rise to the dramatic changes of the Web or not, it has influenced many scopes of society, economy, and mind. With the study of the background, definition, and core competencies of Web2. 0 in Chapter One, I have concluded that the different factors, such as the "quantity" and "quality" development trends of the Web itself, the change of the opinions of web users, the impulses of new technologies and the novel applications of existed technologies, contribute to the shift of Web1.0 to Web2. 0, which is a new development stage of the Web. And that is to say, the immanent causes of the generation of Web2. 0 are the strong and deepening needs of personal independence and social exchange of Web users, and the dramatic increase of the user's number gives the great impetus to generate Web2.0, and the progress of the Web-related technologies and the full use of existed technologies are the prerequisite for the generation of Web2. 0. This definition contains the key features and applications, and by making use of it both we are able to have an entire grasp of the up-to-date development of Web2. 0, and that also facilitates the further study and discussion of Web2. 0.Within Chapter Two, under the theoretical framework of that Web2.0 is both a sort of applications based on the innovation of technologies and a sort of technological innovation oriented by applications, and by making use of many related articles, I describe and discuss the main areas of Web2. 0 in detail: in respect to personal publishing and syndication, e. g.
