Study Of Layered Content-Based Charging Policy And Ralative Technology Under 3G Networks

Open layered network architecture has been used in 3G networks, in which the service operation environment is apparently different from 2G/2.5G Multiple-point distributed charging has been taken under 2G/2.5G, which means that every service system provides charging fuction, which brought the disadvantage of duplicate charging and highly increased cost from system construction and maintenance; Because of the distributed charging of every service system,it is unable to implement the highly real-time and multiple-services charging requirement from prepaid users. There must be a new charging architecture and system to response these changes. Therefore, content-based charging has become the pop research under 3G networks. This paper studies the 3G content-oriented layered integrated charging architecture based on which it puts forward charging policy configuration mechanism to achieve flexible and accurate charging goals.This paper studies the charging requirement of every layer of 3G layered networks in content-based charging and studies the service provide mode of every layer in the layered architecture based on which it elaborates the content-oriented hierarchical integrated charging architecture; Then it brings up the configuration mechanism of charging policy. In the prototype system for content layer charging named content ordering bargaining system, it studies how to express, mining and apply user preference to intelligently choose the bargaining stategy to defind the different value of the content to different users to personalized charging purpose.
