Cardiovascular disease is one of diseases which are threatening human being's life. People having heart disease can get timely and effective treatment if they can use tele-monitoring electrocardiogram (ECG Telemonitor) at home.This article has developed a kind of cardiac tele-monitoring software, patients can get long-range ECG monitoring at home.This paper analyzed the ECG Monitoring System for the status quo at home and abroad, carried out a detailed requirement analysis of the system and in accordance with the requirement analysis, performed a systematic analysis of the structure, decided to use client / server structure, and implemented function of ECG monitor and upload. The whole system mainly consists of three major parts: the custody terminal, client software and server software. The custody terminal is carried by patient, connected to patient with ECG cable and connected to a computer with a USB cable; client software installed on the patient's home computer, collecting ECG data from the custody terminal, performs functions of ECG analysis, displaying of analyze result, playing back the data, printing of analysis report, uploading data and other functions; server software is usually installed in the community hospitals, to receive ECG data sent from the client software, performs functions of ECG data reception, displaying data and printing reports.In this paper, the author is responsible for the requirement analysis of the system, client software and server software analysis, design and implementation (excluding ECG analysis algorithms and USB device driver). The system was developed using Visual C + + 2005 platform and mature and stable MFC library, completed the development of the project on time, and has reached functional and performance requirements of the system.
