Design And Implementation Of Network Traffic Analysis And Performance Monitor System Based On Grid

With the continuous development of network, network traffic analysis plays an important role on network management which provides network traffic data to network administrators facilitating network maintenance, optimization and management. However, as network traffic increased, the network traffic analysis system can not deal with large network traffic due to performance constraints. And Grid system is designed to maximize the utilization of distributed resources and achieve resource sharing. Grid technology is a development direction in the field of parallel and distributed processing technology. How to utilize Grid technology for efficient and accurate network traffic analysis has become a hot issue in computer industry.The current grid technology is often difficult to study and use for ordinary users, so grid portal comes into existence. Grid portal is a web application that integrates grid resources and services. It shields complicated internal details for grid resources, allowing users to use grid system and access grid services through a familiar user interface, consistent operation mechanism and efficient access mechanism, so as to solve the complexity in using grid computing resources.In this thesis, extensive research has been done on reviewing the related documents in the filed of grid portal and network traffic analysis. And based on the project of "Grid-based Traffic Analysis Platform ", some work has been done as follows.(1) Discuss the background, basic concept and the research status at home and abroad of Grid portal.(2) Set up the grid portal based on GridSphere technology, and introduce the process of building the grid portal using GridSphere, and analyze the overall structure and related technology of GridSphere.(3)Discuss the background of network traffic analysis and the development status of network traffic analysis.(4)Implement the function of network traffic analysis, and realize the basic functions of network traffic aggregation, query and so on. , Meanwhile, three methods are designed to analyze the abnormal network traffic.(5)Implement the gird system performance monitoring function, through which the performance monitoring of grid nodes in the grid system are realized.
