Design And Implementation Of External Interface Of Integrated Resource Management System On Web Services

To improve management expertise and service quality, telecommunication operator must have advanced Operating Support System, and Resource Management System is the foundation of Operating Support System. To support the service processes on service open, like service guarantee, enterprise management and operating management, straightening out the function of external interface of Resource Management System is becoming a core issue.The main content of this paper is to analyzing the function of external interface of Resource Management System. Firstly the paper analyze the shared data model of the interface and define the data entity should be transferred during interface communication. Interfaces of a system are the encapsulation of service capability provided by this system. So, the paper straightens out service processes based on service capability can be provided by Resource Management System, and then explains what should be done by Resource Management System to support the processes. The things should be done by Resource Management System is just the function of the external interface. To define the interface function, the paper analyzes from the Resource Management System itself instead of which system to connect.Taking the example of the Web Service interface between Resource Management System and Mobile Network Management System, the paper presents the key problems and resolved methods in demand analyzing, software design and implementation of the interface. For example, on interface software demand analyzing, the paper do analyzing work on interface communication process and data model. on interface software implementation, the paper introduce the steps of service publication, which is a key point of Web Services developing work. Besides, the paper presents how to make the data mapping relationship configure-ability, it is important in interface maintenance and upgrade. Currently these methods have been used in projects and can be reused in other similar projects.
