The Integration Of Two Transmission Networks And The Planning And Construction Of 3G Transmission Network In Tianjin Unicom

The reorganization of telecommunication industry of China was carried out in 2008. Along with the issuance of operating licenses for 3G, China Unicom has obtained a precious opportunity to promote its rapid development of business and faced huge challenge in network at the same time.Transmission network as the carrying platform of all kinds of business, the planning of this network is a key factor that will decide China Unicom's success or failure in the competitive market in the future. It's of important significance that the integration of original Tianjin Unicom and Tianjin Netcom's transmission networks should be completed reasonably as early as possible and the planning and construction of 3G transmission network must be speeded up according to the needs of business.Correlative remarks are expanded in this paper as follows:1. The analysis of the original Tianjin Unicom and Tianjin Netcom's local transmission network from the network node, cabling, topology, capacity, security, business needs and other aspects was described.2. The problems of the original Unicom Tianjin transmission network were researched and analyzed. And then the situations were proposed according to Tianjin Netcom transmission networks' characteristics.3. The planning and construction ideas of transmission network were expatiated from the aspect of controlling investment according to the need of business. The author participated in working out and carrying out the plan according to the planning and construction ideas.The supporting construction of 3G transmission network has promoted the integration of two telecommunication networks. What's more important is that it provides a reliable guarantee for the application of 3G-WCDMA mobile business. It was practiced that this planning and construction proposal is feasible and effective.
