May 23,2008, the telecommunications industry, the third re finally started, the merger of China Unicom and China Netcom. The reorganization is indeed given us a new vision and Unicom too many expectations. As the domestic 3G operation license issued, the new Unicom gained valuable opportunity to promote the rapid development of business, while also facing great challenges. Transmission network as an integrated telecom service bearing platform, Shijiazhuang, China Unicom network planning is to determine the future success or failure of market competition, the key factor. Fast, reasonably complete original Unicom and Netcom, the original transmission network integration; according to business needs, speed up the launch of 3G network planning the coordinated development of transmission is significant. This paper has described the following aspects:1. On the original Shijiazhuang Shijiazhuang China Unicom and China Netcom's network of local transmission network nodes, lines, topology, capacity, security, business needs analysis and other aspects.2. Shijiazhuang Unicom focus on the original issue of the existing local transport network analysis, combining the original features of Shijiazhuang, China Netcom's transmission network proposed solutions.3. According to the needs of business development, investment from the control point of view to explain the recent transmission network planning, construction ideas. According to this construction, planning ideas, the author participated in the transmission network integration,3G transmission network construction program development and implementation. Through this coordinated development of 3G transmission network to promote the integration of two networks and, more importantly for 3G-WCDMA mobile services provide a reliable guarantee for opening on time. Practice shows that the planning, construction is feasible and effective.
