Throughout the history of the Internet's development, the emergence of search engines brought people a qualitative change on how to effectively leverage the massive information online. People's habit of using the Internet changed as well. People do not visit directory website or portal website to find information or the expected answers. Instead, they use search engine to find them. People place more dependence on search engines, as they feature great accessibility and availability. Meanwhile for the enterprise portals and e-commercial websites, the traffic that the search engines bring them has become an important, even the most important traffic resource. Therefore, to make the correct information and the information people would like to deliver be included in the search engines, and to make the site to get a higher rank in search results have become almost all the web masters' first priority. Now, Search Engine Optimization technology is the key to solve this.What is "Search Engine Optimization"? How to carry out the search engine optimization action to the enterprise websites reasonably? Through the introduction of the mainstream search engine, Google and its natural ranking algorithm PageRank, this paper analyzed the effect that the search engine optimization actions bring to the natural ranking search result. In this paper, the author focuses on the search engine optimization means and methods for the corporate websites and e-commerce websites, providing some hints for webmasters on implementing search engine marketing.
