Data warehouse technique, as an emerging direction of the development of the computer database system, has been widely applied in many fields recently. The application of data warehouse technique enables the production of decision support information via the processing and analyzing of the ubiquitous data existed in various computer information systems. It explored in detail the architecture and application of data warehouse technique in the field of civil aviation passenger transporting sales systems.The main achievements of this thesis are listed as following:(1) Performed the requirements analysis of the application of data warehouse in the passenger transportation sales system of China Eastern Airlines. It set the goal of the development according to users'requirements, and determined the relevant motif of data warehouse analysis based on Airlines'strategic plan of passenger transporting sales system.(2) Established the data warehouse's data model for the passenger transporting sales system, including concept model, logic model and physical model. The setup of these data models provided a stable and integrated data structure for the development of passenger transporting sales data warehouse system, while being a crucial part of the overall data structure of the passenger transporting sales system.(3) Established the data warehouse framework for the passenger transporting sales system. Designed the system network structure and application architecture and analyzed the realization feasibility while observing the characteristics of openness, extendibility, security, practicability and relative independence simultaneously. Realized the extraction, transformation and overloading of relevant data.(4) Designed the human-computer interface, realized on-line analyzing and processing applications on the data warehouse platform.。Several airlines companies have used it. |
