In the circumstance of ubiquitous computing many kinds of terminal equipment(TE) exist anywhere and can be used whenever you want,like pen or paper around you. Meanwhile today's management and monitoring model is designed for Telecom Network or computor network and can't apply to TEs in the circumstance of ubiquitous computing.So,the emphasis of this article is to build a management model can apply to ubiquitous computing TEs which has features such as large number,many types, running environment changing often and being offline sometimes.etc.The article introduces the features of TE management, today's related management model and the content of study. Then the article sets up a kind of unified management protocol which meet the requirment of TE management, a systematic structure of the management platform for ubiquitous computing TEs, some strategies to realize the management platform. Following above the article realized the management model for e-home terminal devices and discuss the model's advantage. Finally, conclusions and the future work have been given.The core lies at the research the protocol of TE management, platform and the strategy of platform implementation and protocol implementation . Based on the old management protocol, built a new protocol for TE management. We reaserch the management platform framework including hiberarchy model, data processing model, deployment model and communication model. The strategy of platform implementation and protocol implementation focus on how to implement http server on limited resource of TE and process the large capacity and high parallel communication , the strategy to access database and database transaction etc.
