With the development of technique of E-commerce and management of the chain store, retail business focused more on the .management of logistics which is regard as the third profit point. Efficient logistic management can not only improve the efficiency of the operation of the chain business, but also can assist the business make efficient market strategy by using information systems. This thesis designed the application about the logistics management of the chain store by using Web Services technique.Because the chain store has many branches and date exchange among them is mostly based on different platforms and systems, how to realize sharing information efficiently became a big issue. Web services have the benefits such as loose coupling; independent of the platforms and operating systems, so it would be a good solution. This thesis took the Eagle Chain store of Ping Dingshan as an example and emphasized on the realization of the logistics management information system of the small-medium size chain store by using Web Services. At first, the thesis described the definition,characters and the present situation. Based on these, it discussed the model of the logistics management in the chain store and proposed a scheme which is combine the traditional logistics with the third-party logistics. Next, the paper researched on the system requirement analysis, system architecture and the partition of the system functional modules. At last, the paper discussed the process of the realization of the Ping Dingshan Eagle Chain store's distribution order management system by using Web Services on J2EE platform.
