In recent years, as rapid development of information technology based on computer technology, communication technology and a wide range of Internet applications, embedded systems have also attach more and more importance to the increasingly wide range of applications and industrial control, mobile communications, household appliances and consumer electronics devices.And data acquisition in modern industry plays a very important role, the monitoring and control of industrial equipment can not be separated from data acquisition. However, the data acquisition module based on the traditional single-chip microcomputer system can not or very difficult to accomplish the embedded of operating system, file management, a variety of interface connections, and Internet connectivity, the expansion of large-capacity memory and other functions, so in many areas the application is limited. To solve these problems, design and develop the embedded data acquisition modules based on Linux operating system based.In this paper, based on a comprehensive analysis of the existing problems with data acquisition system, the new design of embedded data acquisition system use board structure to improve the system scalability and flexibility; the use of embedded Linux operating system kernel as the core of circulation and attemperation which improve portability and stability of the software system; 32-bit embedded microprocessors based on ARM9 core, as the control, processing and communications heart of the entire hardware system which increase the processing power and control flexibility and anti-jamming capability, and reduce power consumption. The system has a strong network of communication capabilities, in order to access Internet possible.The data acquisition and processing system based on embedded arm have clear structure, excellent currency, good expansibility, and can provide a variety of embedded applications with a complete set of hardware and software solutions .There is more extensive application prospects in the field of industrial measurement and control.
