DEM-Based Radar 3D Simulation Study

Ordinary radar simulation in two-dimensional topographical data, can not be carried out for low / ultra low penetration of the target simulation, radar simulation system must be based on the increase in the terrain elevation data to generate DEM, on the basis of conduct Target simulation, radar network can provide useful data simulation.In this paper, according to TIN technology, point by point insertion method used to build TIN DEM generation model. DEM generated in the model, based on the viewpoint of the LOD algorithm for three-dimensional terrain model can be simplified, the final DEM model. XML format used as a setting like the production of information storage files, and other systems to facilitate data exchange. DEM-based radar simulation system in addition to large amount of simulation data, can also generate and display of radar detection space model, choose the right positions and a series of radar terrain analysis.
