| The 21st Century is an Information Age with the computer network at the core, which is characterized with digitalization, networking, informationization. In tourism, almost all the information, including scenic spots, tourist areas, hotels, travel agencies, transportation, weather, etc., can be managed and published by modern information technology. Therefore, informationization for tourism is the inevitable with the advance of the times. With the deep development of tourism informationization, tourists tend to be more involved in making travel plan on traveling way, routes, routines, and schedules. Meanwhile, tourism enterprises need to change the relatively "static" mode of information integration and use a new tourism management information system to meet the growing customized market demand. Motivated by this, the thesis designs and realizes a distributed tourism management information system (DTMIS).Based on the actual situation of tourism resources, according to the principle of the software engineering, the thesis investigates the entire process of developing a DTMIS. Starting from requirements analysis, system functions, database architecture, input/output interfaces, interaction between users and the DTMIS, and more are designed. Additionally, a framework, functions, and solutions of tourist-oriented tourism management information systems are presented, and besides, a kind of software is developed by ASP programming language. The main functions provided by the DTMIS include tourism information publication, tourism scheduling, electronic maps, and others. Besides, a virtual tourism experience sub-system is explored. In the tourism scheduling sub-system, time, cost, etc. are considered, and besides, requirements of tourists are transformed into a knapsack problem and an unsymmetrical TSP (Traveling Salesman Problem), which is solved by genetic algorithms. Use Google Map API, provides the visual spatial information, and use Google's search API interface, the system can make use of Internet resources to enable users to share up-to-date map information. The system could meet the basic needs of checking and analysizing the tourist information, and it has an important application value on the tourism informatization. |
