Most small scale water conservancy project in China's countryside have been out of repair for long years, and had ageing problems in various degrees. These projects are playing a decisive role in agricultural productivity, so it's an urgent issue to place modification works right away. Meanwhile, the information technology has developed rapidly these years, and the computer is gradually replacing manpower calculating. The modernization of the hydraulic projects has higher requirements for the modification works.This system, the small scale water conservancy modification for ageing decision support system, is designed for small scale water conservancy project of the city of Yangzhou, its aim is to integrate multi function into one visual application, including inquiry of structure information and evaluating of modification efficiency. The system is developed on the platform of relevant database software Visual FoxPro 7.0, and the developing process adopts Object-Oriented approach.The system for sluice and pumping station make good use of the language of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate aging condition, then divided into age levels by score. It is the first time to integrate aging evaluation and Engineering estimate and economic analysis and the decision-making preferred to a system. Finally, the system is able to automatically output results according to the selection of decision basis, providing consultation to users.The entire system operation shows that the system is simple, user-friendly, fast and results is reasonable, the basic system which has strong practicality and engineering practice is scheduled to meet the requirements and.
