A Study Of News Reporting And Its Relationship With Media Policies

Nowadays, we haven't had a formal Media Law which sets criteria for media and the activities related. But we have a lot of policies stated in the Constitution, or other law, administrative regulations, and regulations on the exercise of autonomy and separate regulations, other Rules and Regulations and Local Government Regulations, the treaties concluded with other countries and other international treaties, which have been the source of media law, and have formed a relatively complete media law system. They can be called the Media Law in general and in some way, they have set the criteria for the media.From the beginning of the People's Republic of China, lots of regulations or rules were made to guide the activities of media which has changed a lot till the 21st Century.Herein, Based on the study and achievements of the predecessors, I have tried to show that how the policies of media has been influencing the media and the news reporting and how the news reporting has been improved by analyzing the breaking news reporting, investigative news reporting, and international news reporting respectively.
