Urban rail transit construction has vital significance to ease municipal traffic pressure,reduce transportation cost and solve the personnel commuting problems.Nowadays,Chinese government pays great attention to the development of rail transport which is an important part of the public transportation system.Under this background,the metro platform screen door(PSD) system which is designed for passengers protection,energy conservation and cost savings will be widely used soon. But so far,PSD system in our country can not be separated from the support of foreign technologies and we do not have our own intellectual property rights.The key technologies of the door control and monitoring are offered by foreign manufacturers.Along with the rapid development of Internet technologies,the traditional remote monitoring and control methods take a giant leap.The location of remote monitoring and control devices becomes more flexible and the monitoring and control can be done at anytime and in anywhere.Especially in the industrial control field, Interact-based remote monitoring and control of the PSD is currently a hot research abroad.This paper focuses on an Internet-based remote monitoring and control system of metro PSD.Through the Internet network,the system could achieve remote control of metro PSD and real-time monitor the status information of PSD.The research results have practical significance and application value for metro PSD system independent development in China and the enhancement of our local production of PSD system.On the basis of solid researches on a large quantity of relevant Chinese and international literatures,the research work of this paper can be summarized in four points as shown below:1)Based on the well understanding of domestic and foreign PSD systems,the paper introduced the design pattern,running modes and key technologies of the PSD system.2)With the analysis and research on Internet-based remote monitoring and control system architecture,the paper constructed remote monitoring and control system of metro PSD based on C/S structure after comparing it with B/S structure.Meanwhile,the paper also studied deeply on key technologies of this system such as TCP/IP protocol,network sockets and ADO database technology.3)After having completed the model construction,the paper designed and implemented the serial communications between PLC and server and communications between server and client.SQL Server 2000 was adopted as the database for the system.The paper designed the data tables which the system needed and accessed to the database by ADO techniques.4)The paper fulfilled the debugging work of the whole system.The result verified the function of various modules and achieved real-time inquiries of the PSD system status and Internet remote communication function.The paper reached the expected design requirements of the remote monitoring and control system.
