Research On The Bibliography Information Service Based On The Web Environment

The time we live in is of rapid growth of information, where " Information Overload" and"Information Thirsty", as a pair of conflicts, have always existed and will exist side by sidewith in a long term.A variety of information sources and diversity information carriers makeus immersed in mass of information, with limited capacity of information processingorganization, we feel more and more dificult to access to information.Information exchanging continues to expand and deepen in the network environment, the conflict between rapidly growth of information in the net and people's specific need is increasingly acute,and bibliographic information service demonstrated its important role rightly in resolving the contradiction. While at the same time, the traditional way of bibliographic information service faces with a strong challenge that comes from technology fo the net informations.And it will be of great significance to discuss how to develop effectively bibliographic information services in internet enviroment to meet a wider range of needs.Bibliographic information service means that the library provide informations and documents to the readers and users with tools of bibligography,index,abstracts ,etc.,in order to save the readers' time and energy,and to improve the efficiency and speed of document finding.The service is such activity that it oriented wit users' demand, links with people who undertake the job,based on content of bibliographic information service,and the bibliographic services strategy will be as the protection.Bibligraphic information service has distinct characteristics of the times as an improtant researching area of Bibliography.The rapid development of information and network technology has completely changed the human's information activity model,all factors of bibliographic information services have changed to under such an influnece.In the network environment, Traditional way of bibliographic information service is facing with new challenges.To deepen the bibliographic information service,we must establish a new concept about the service, improve the worker's capacity,educate the users,improve the quality of the service's product,and carried out extensive cooperation in the services.It has become strategic need in network environment.It has incresingly become the focus of Bibliographic Information Research that explore the development of traditional bibliographic information service in network environment at present.In this paper,based on analysis of the theory and pratice of bibliographic information service in and abroad,and in view of the current status of domestic,the author put forward a strategy in how to carry out better bibliographic information service in network environment.
