| Urban public traffic is an important part of city transport and a basis factor of the great artery of city. Nowadays, the construction of the intelligent traffic system has been put on the agenda in many large and medium-sized cities in china. Based on the analysis of the merits and demerits of existing intelligent traffic system, the paper focuses on the research and development of the intelligent traffic communication system based on ZigBee.The intelligent traffic communication network includes Internet and ZigBee network. The communication network between traffic line centers and traffic dispatch centers belongs to the Internet, to make up for the transmission distance limit of ZigBee. The rest of the communication network belong to the ZigBee network, to make full use of the point-blank transmission of ZigBee. The communication mechanism and functionality of the three-layer network are researched.Firstly, the paper deeply analyzed several vehicles orientation technologies, combined with positioning requirement and operation mode of public traffic, adopted an positioning algorithm based on ZigBee and RSSI, studied the realization of the bus node localization and its application. Secondly, the paper analysed the basic requirements and characteristics of routing in intelligent traffic ZigBee network, put forward an directional routing algorithm, and then designed the routing combining with minimum pathway cost. Finally, the paper made a study of the communication mechanism and information process of permitting bus node to join a network, bus node joining a network and leaving a network. By means of comparing the signal intensity between the former router and the latter router, the paper designed the handover algorithm of the bus node.Making ZigBee technology applied to the intelligent traffic communication network provided a new direction of developing the intelligent traffic system, expanded the scope of application of ZigBee technology and promoted the theoretical study of ZigBee technology. |
