Virtual prototyping technology is a digital design methodology based computer simulation model of product,which provides a new all-digital product development approach.The virtual prototype can be used in place of physical prototypes in products innovative design,test and evaluation. Research and development of frequency conversion haulage motor in China is still relatively small,as a result,the study on in application of virtual prototyping technology is also very rare.The paper's target is simulation and research on the start-up and brake of Frequency conversion haulage motor in application of virtual prototyping technology,which based on the Frequency conversion haulage motor technical innovation projects of Jinchuan Company.On the basis of analyzing traction locomotive technical parameters,the movement model of frequency conversion haulage motor has been simplified according to the actual situation in this paper.Through wheel mechanics analysis,vehicle stress state analysis and adhesion analysis between wheel and rail in process of start-up and brake,the according mathematical model of wheels and body in strength,speed,acceleration,as well as time and distance have been established.The characteristics and influencing factors in start-up and brake were analyzed.Virtual modeling and simulation analysis are the core part of virtual prototyping technology,and virtual modeling is the basis of virtual prototyping technology,which is the base of all the simulation analysis.In Pro/E environment,three-dimensional solid model of frequency conversion haulage motor has been established.First of all,the kinematics analysis and interference check of the assembly were carried out using Mechanism module of Pro/E;then three-dimensional solid model of the braking system was guided into ADAMS software environment,through system modeling,and formation the virtual prototype model of frequency conversion haulage motor ultimately.Under the conditions of no-load and full- load operating conditions,the simulation of start-up and braking process was done,and got the relevant characteristic curves and change rules of start-up and braking process.Through the kinetics research of frequency conversion haulage motor in the application of dynamics theory,this paper provides a theoretical basis and guidance for the transformation of frequency conversion haulage motor and parameter settings,so as to provide a preliminary theory for further optimize design,large,serialization and the development of new products. It summarized the architecture,main content and key technologies of virtual prototyping technology,shorten the product development cycle and reduced the development costs in the application of virtual prototyping technology, provided a reference example for the virtual prototyping technology in mining machinery field,and explored the new ideas and methods for the development of innovative of mining machinery,so this paper's research methodology and conclusions have wider project significance.
