The mechanical system virtual prototyping technology is a new technology which synthesizes many sciences, and it has been the important means by which we can improve the product design performance. Engineers can build system model and simulate in computer. According to the analysis results, engineers can improve or optimize mechanical systems designing projects and its running process. The mechanical systems virtual prototyping technology can help enterprises to reduce the trial-manufacture times of physical prototyping, so that it can short periods of designing and producing, consequently reduce the costs and improve the quality of products.The virtual prototyping is used to the design of circuit breaker. ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System) is applied to operating mechanism movement simulation of MCCB, type DZ20, analyzing the mechanism release. Based on analyzing the interrupting velocity, we use Adams to optimize the operating mechanism of DZ20. In the process of analysis, more important parameter of operating mechanism is obtained and the velocity of opening sport is increased by optimize mechanical systems designing projects.The mathematics model of kinematics and dynamics is build. This is the center of ADAMS/Solver.
