Research And Realization Of Automatic Scan Paper Marking System

Automatic Exam Paper Marking is a new pattern of paper marking supported by computer technology in which computer marks the paper automatically. This paper develops an Automatic Scan Exam Paper Marking System based on the technology of digital image processing. This system completes the following functions paper production, paper image information recognition and the recognition result storage, emendation, display function. In the preparation phase, the automatic paper production based on Word is realized by VBA technology and the function of result display is completed by Delphi technology. In the main body that is paper image information recognition function module, the system introduces the marker concept and adopts improved template matching arithmetic to resolve the problem of the paper image skew correction; uses the statistical feature to identify the handwritten scores; designs a histogram project grouping algorithm, which is used for the fill black information and the subject score recognition. At present, the system has been put into practical examination paper marking, and the results show that this system obtains a preferable effect on the recognition accurate, the stability and the dependability.
