The building of Social Insurance Management Information System (SIMIS) is a large engineering. It is related to the knowledge of many subjects and needs united scheme from every aspect; it is also needed by the data which is opening and sharing, the business tier could be easily deal with. The purpose of introducing design patterns to SIMIS designing is to improve the efficiency of working and reduce the cost of maintenance by taking full advantage of previous experiences in software designing. This paper introduces some J2EE design patterns which is used in Hefei Social Insurance Management Information System, discusses the main patterns from the business tier and persistence tier; and explains why use the Command and Delegate pattern instead of the simple and easy one- Session Facade; Also the author explains the reason of using the JDBC data accessing frame which is connected to the DAO linked by the data sources. The paper focused on the patterns' advantages and disadvantages in the practical applications and how to use them. Finally, in order to overcome the long time waited by the customers while lots of them use the system at the same time, the author introduces the Message Facade pattern as an improved suggestion in the business tier which is based on the asynchronous mechanism of the communication; Because lots of Storage Process can led to bad Scalability and hard to reuse, the author standardizes the coding of Storage Process as another opinion in the persistence tier.
