Research On A Machining Workshop MES Architecture And Its Operating Plan Execution Technique

With the development of globalization, the competitions among enterprises are becoming increasingly fierce. In order to obtain competitive advantages, manufacturers have to seek for advanced production techniques and managements to improve the productivity, reduce the production costs and improve the qualities of their products. As an effective means of enhancing plant's production management level and manufacturing capability, Manufacturing Execution System has attracted more and more attention of researchers. Taking the machining workshop as background, this paper investigates the manufacturing execution system architecture and its operating plan execution technique.Firstly, paper elaborated the characteristics of the manufacturing process in machining workshop, and analyzed the machining workshop's demand in MES, then combined with the relevant standards, such as ISA95, a MES architecture of machining workshop was presented, the architecture including function structure and systems framework.Experience plays an important role in the process of Job Shop Scheduling problem. Paper researched the implementation technology of the Job Shop Scheduling based on experience, firstly, it elaborated the basic idea of the implementation process of the Job Shop Scheduling based on experience, and then proposed a basic framework of the MES operating plan. The preparation of the operating plan is one of the most important part of the framework of the MES operating plan, Paper researched the method of the Job Shop scheduling problem in machining workshop based on experience, analyzed and described the relevant empirical data for workshop operating plan, designed a rule algorithm based on the experience for Job Shop Scheduling in machining workshop, and verified the method with an example.Based on the research above, the manufacturing execution system of machining workshop has been developed. It has been introduced to Chongqing CAFF Automotive Brake Systems Company and has received good application effect.
