Night vision technology is applied widespreadly all over the military and civil. It has great theoretical significance and practice value to combine embedded technology with real-time night vision technology and it is also a hot spot which the domestic and foreign researchers address to. In the system, it is required that processing chip should provide calculate capability and adaptable ability. But DSP, FPGA, ASIC and the general processor that based on the single nuclear processing chip, cannot provide those capabilities. The TMS320DM6446 processor of Texas Instruments (TI) Corporation which integrates the ARM and the DSP core has stronger process ability, lower power loss, easier to integrate and so on. The TMS320DM6446 processor can satisfy the requerments above.We study and analyse the software and hardware framework of TMS320DM6446 platform. The main task of the paper includes:1. To study envirement of TMS320DM6446 embedded system, including all kinds of servers such as TFTP,SSH,NFS and so on. And we realize the cross compiler envirment base on linux and MontaVista operation system;2. To study and analyz night vision algorithm, including enhancing and denosing low-light image and propose a algorithm base on confidence interval and mathematical expectation.3. To study and analyze double core of DAVINCE system. Including studying the character of ARM and DSP core, designing the software and hardware framework of TI Corporation's Davinci platform, designing and realizing low-light video real-time capturing and displaying function modules; realizing low-light image processing algorithm.4. To optimize the algorithm, such as using inline functions, liner ASM, memery aligned, DMA and so on.After hard work, the system has completed low-light video capturing, enhancing, denoising and displaying on the TMS320DM6446 platform, at same time has reached the anticipated result and satisfied the real-time requirement.
