It is the important guiding ideology of caring about the people's livelihood and economic developing in morden socioeconomic development. As the mass media,TV programs not only provide information for audience, but also play an important part in propagating the state's will, reflecting the social intentions and building the harmony relationships between them, especailly for TV Life-service Program which is based on offering service information for the people's daily life. It is becoming an important way to care about their life ideas and livelihood as well as to satisfy their life demands. In the development of nearly 30 years, with the aim of servicing the audience, it has particular advantages. The program is closely related to the people's daily life. There are more and more different program styles, the content is riching as well. Even more, the life channels have been started in some provincial SAT-TVs. The TV Life-service Program is flourishing. However, during the developmet, it has some problems because of the seriousness of homogenization phenomenon as well as unreasonable pursues of entertainment, even worse, there are a few of programs are vulgarising. It is because that the program is closely related the people's daily life and has good practicability and instructiveness, people rely heavily on the information and life ideas that the TV life-service programs provide. Especially the TV heart-service programs, they are laden with responsibilities of dealing with the people's mental health, guiding their life philosophy and hamonizing the social relations. Therefore, it has practical significance to study the culture connonation in TV life-service program for servicing people's social life, and guiding their mental ideas and behavior in society.The thesis mainly analyzes the TV Life-service Program with the theories of TV culture, communication and society, as well as the method of contents analysis. With the help of several established cases, the article walks through the history of the TV Life-service Program and analyzes its features and recent problems. It is a new point to study the TV Life-service Program from the view of culure connotation, and some developing advices have been offered. This article divides into four parts.The first part describes the general information of TV Life-service Program. It offers a redifiniton in modern social condition, and introduces the rise, the development and the prosperity of TV Life-service Program. Some prominent examples of TV Life-service Program are explained at each time.The second part introduces status quo of TV Life-service Program. By analyzing concrete examples, this part of dissertation summarizes the characteristics—service, practicality, popularizing perspective, and the different content of TV Life-service Program in different areas. The study on the problems about the seriousness of homogenization phenomenon, unreasonable pursues of entertainment as well as the vulgarizing programms lays foundation for analyzing the culture connotation of TV Life-service Program.The third part is analyzing the the culture connotation of TV Life-service Program. It is the most important part of the article. This part is analyzed from three aspects, the characteristic, the core content and the properties of TV Life-service Program nowdays. The culture connotation contains the attitude to service the audience, humanity, morality and national culture. It is in the nature of pop culture and its morden feature is media expense culture with chinese characteristic.The four part provides some advices to improve culture connotation of TV Life-service Program. First, it is the foundational measure to strengthen the culture cultivation of professional people who product the TV Life-service Program. Second, the major method is finding the geographic features of TV Life-service Program.Third, it will be the tendency to developing specialized TV live-service channels.
