Human-Computer Interaction technology is research on designing and achieving the interactive computing systems used and the study of these phenomena. HCI is a cutting-edge subject, which followed the development of the computer technology. Its research focuses on the interaction between human and computers. Research on HCI concerns transmitting information between human and computer in a more efficient means by input and output devices of computer. User Interface means the interface that human use to transmit information and interact with computer. The UI is very important in computer system.With the multi-channel interactive technology being researched in the field of HCI, pen-based interactive technology which is one of the multi-channel interactive technologies comes into play, because it can provide human the most convenient by the interactive means similar to traditional pen and papers. It really embodies the technical characteristics of Human-Computer interaction—"human-centered". Meanwhile, interactive modes such as drawing and writing enables human to achieve high-performance interaction. Pen-based interaction overcomes the faults of traditional mouse and keyboard interactive modes such as non-precise positioning and uneasy to learn to use in conditions requesting for free writing and drawing. A familiar and facilitating interactive mode has been provided by pen-based interaction. And it is considered as a more reasonable mode of interaction.This paper is concerned about the Pen Tablet Aided Instruction Applications. It uses the pen aided technology to go deep into the research of the task, the processed model and the technology for the interaction of the free drawing with pen tablet in teaching, combining with traditional interaction technology like the chalk, the blackboard and the eraser. Interactive technology and task of daily Instruction Applications are researched systematically, including: the use of Wintab standard digital interface, analog traditional chalk, the blackboard eraser, and the interaction model, as well as the endorsement of traditional writing on the blackboard. In this paper, a theoretical model is provided for pen-based interactive technology in Instruction Applications.The main contribution of this thesis is summarized as follows:(1) The importance of pen-based interactive technology in Instruction Applications is analyzed. This software in the interactive software tasks is summed up, there are advantages and disadvantages in traditional interactive mode of chalk and the blackboard eraser. The pen-based interactive interface based on pen tablet is mentioned for future of the Human-Computer Interactive theory.(2) The advantage of the Instruction Applications is mentioned in this paper. The task of HCI in the software has been researched. The interactive technology in teaching such as writing on the blackboard, cleaning up the words, and annotations of other documents has been researched.(3) The use of ubiquitous computing especially context-aware computing in pen-based interface is researched in this paper, and the combination model of context-aware computing and pen-based interface has been created in this paper, and a algorithm of matching handwriting figures based on context-aware computing has been researched in this paper.
