Along with the development of science and technology, as well as the pursuit of office efficiency, CAD,CAM technology has become into a flourish, and has become into a necessary trend of development in the tire mold industry as well as all the industry ,as a starting point, and combining with the needs of actual projects in company, I have studied in the pattern block of tire mould, revolving CAD technology and manufacturing processes ,as well as the CAM technology in generating NC program.In the aspects of CAD technology in tire mold standard parts:1) Using the technology of SQL Server 2000 to establish a database for tire mold standard parts, including the parameter tables and relationship tables of standard parts. The advantages of this database system is to share data resources, and make it independent, as well as in centralized management. It will facilitate the realization of automatic modeling by parameter size driving.2) Using UG to establish a parameterized three-dimensional model library for tire mold standard parts, and conduct a macro recording of the process of standard parts parametric modeling.3) Using Visual Basic 6.0 as development language, the client complete the establishment of tire mold standard parts library system and achieve access connection to the database. Combining the technology of UG secondary development, completed a size driving of standard model of tire mold.In the aspects of tire model manufacturing process and CAM Technology of the pattern blocks.Focused on the tire mold manufacturing process and the UG-based pattern block CAM process: 1) Having analyzed the traditional manufacturing process of pattern blocks, as well as their respective advantages and disadvantages and application occasions.2) Having analyze the current manufacturing processes of pattern block mold commonly used, and with the actual example of the pattern block mold manufacturing process which is studied by author , elaborate the entire process of manufacturing processes.3) Having analyzing the general process of NC programming, to guide the CAM processes of pattern blocks, and then with the NC rough milling in the pattern block mold manufacturing process as an actual example, completed the entire process of the NC programming of the pattern parts in the pattern block molds.
