Study On Disaster Recovery Of Archives Information System

We have experienced many disasters in 2008. At the beginning of the year a snow havoc hit Southern China, followed by a strong earthquake in Wenchuan on May. 12, which astonished the whole world. During this period, Archives, which inherits Chinese civilization and history were also damaged seriously. The truth is that the traditional archive base has stopped using and the back up of data is not optimistic. How to recover the archive information service in the Archives as soon as possible has become a very valuable subject for research..This paper has carried out some initial discuss and exploration on the disaster recovery of archives information system on the basis of the research findings. There are 5 parts in this paper. The first part is introduction. The second part is about the key concept,classification and architecture of the disaster recovery of information system. The third part is the key point of this paper. In this part the essence and the principle of organization and contribution have been discussed firstly. Then this part puts on the project of the disaster recovery system and disaster recovery center for choice on the basis of demand analysis of the archive information system's disaster recovery. The fourth part focus on the content and the management of Disaster Recovery Preparedness. The last part is a summary of this paper.
