The Research And Implementation Of A Disaster Recovery System

By presenting the background, principles and research hotspots of Information Security, this paper analyzes disaster recovery technology and traditional disaster recovery system in detail. It concludes that in network disaster recovery system is not effective in real-time applications, it doesn't support overall disaster evaluation as well as self-vulnerability defense, so the system cannot give a general evaluation for the key network system thus it is unable to recover the system according to the disaster situations. Morever, because current disaster recovery sytstem has not the ability of self-studying, it cannot survive the same intrusion as soon as possible automatically.Based on the reasons given above, firstly, this paper designs a whole framework of a Disaster Recovery System. Secondly, it researches and implements a file monitor system which combines real-time file monitor with timing scan by adopting operating system-enhanced technology and key system call monitor technology; By analyzing the current process monitor technologies and using "System Security Process List", it implements a process monitor system in Linux kernel. On the backgrounds of key network information system, it extends NFS protocol and realizes a backup and recovery system which is featured by multiversion backup, copy on write and accurate recovery. Morever, this paper discusses the relative technologies in developing disaster evaluation and decision system.Finally, this paper gives a test for the system functions and summarizes the contributions of our work, then makes the expectation of our future work.
