To solve the problems of Web information increasing bringing to the users,Tim Berners-Lee proposed the concept of the Semantic Web.In the Semantic Web, information is given well-defined semantics,making it understandable and can be processed by computer.Ontology is a kind of expression way in knowledge field,which provides a approach of clear definition semantic,and using ontology to describe Web information makes more conducive to Human-computer interaction.Semantic Web Services applies the technology of Semantic Web to the domain of Web Services,the idea of which is that using ontologies to describe Web services and adding semantic to services enables the automated discovery,composition,and invocation of Web services.As semantic support,ontology plays an important role. However,some important knowledge and semantic are given implicitly,so perfecting ontology has an important application value for improving the efficiency of ontology mapping and ontology merging and the efficiency of other operations on ontology in semantic Web services.To perfect ontology,this paper puts forward a new method.It is one of the effective ways to deduce the implicit knowledge from domain ontology and increase the semantic association in ontology for improving the utilization of ontology knowledge.In the paper,on the basis of contrast at home and abroad,a reasoning mechanism framework based on SWRL is proposed,which is through the reasoning of combination of OWL ontology and SWRL rules to discover implicit knowledge and semantic association in the ontology,and related algorithm in the process of reasoning is given.In the paper,a prototype system --Rule based Reasoning System is designed and primarily implemented.The purpose of this paper is to bring forward a new method for perfecting ontology,which can be better used in Semantic Web services field.The experimental results indicate that the framework proposed in this paper is feasible and effective.
