Rotary is the key to burning equipment in the production of the metallurgy,cement,chemical industry,refractory and other industries,it is a heavy-duty,high torque,multi-pivot,run statically indeterminate system.Its safe,efficient operation is the key to economic efficiency.For the rotary kiln,the most important is to ensure its operation of the linear axis,because it is directly related to the equipment,as well as the level of production efficiency.In the actual production,it is difficult for its real-time axis' accurate,rapid measurement,adjustment and maintenance,so,it is necessary to research the online measurement and control system for low cost,simple, practical axis measuring device,and rapid,accurate adjustments.Based on the analysis and comparison of domestic and international the detection technology about the rotary axis,a direct measurement concept for the axis of the rotary kiln shell was made,its measuring principle,measurement steps and calculation method were analyzed,depending on the measurement program,the appropriate sensors are selected,measuring data is picked,transported,handled and analyzed.By combining the structure characteristics of the rotary,referencing the relevant contents of the Stress analysis,the relationship of force between the cylinder and its supporting roller,then,the kiln's external load for the need of the adjustment is obtained.Labview-based rapid program has been designed.At the same time,based on the assumption of a certain type of kiln,a number of adjustments required external loads are calculated,the design process of the hydraulic control system used to adjust was researched and completed.In control:the Kiln axial movement control and hydraulic control methods are elaborated;Mechanical bolt adjustment was improved to hydraulic cylinder-driven adjustments,combing with the axis measurement data,and by using the digital features and advantages of the hydraulic cylinder,according to the figures of the movement characteristics of hydraulic cylinder,using the of single-chip pulse input mode for control,the adjust volume is controlled,to ensure the accuracy;at the same time,the information collect is described in the process of work and adjustments,and displayed in man-machine control interface,which provides reference changes for mastering condition of the kiln and the adjustment.The On-line monitoring and control system for the rotary is based on the stress analysis,the simple,fast direct measurement for the body axis of the kiln,and the use of hydraulic control to achieve the convenient,fast adjustment for the kiln axis.It is powerful and easy to operate,however,because safety factors,the high cost and the complexity of the work environment,so there is a long progress for the experimental study.
