With Chinese economic development and improvement of living standards, the amount of waste is growing quickly. In this case, waste incineration is rising in China. Therefore, there is an urgent need to research on monitoring system for waste incineration. This thesis expounds the methods of disposing solid waste, and introduces the relative technologies at home and abroad. The key points of this thesis include the design of software and hardware for the system, and the realization of automatic control.In this paper, the composition of the control system hardware should be designed. The monitoring and controlling system adopts a total distributed control system(DCS), which is constituted by PLC, computers(IPC) and some thermal power engineering signal sensors, senders, controllers, etc. PLC is used to collect data and perform automatic control, while IPC is used to monitor the operation process, analyze, display and store data. As well set up intranet in the DCS system, in order to transfer the real time data and communicate.At the same time, this thesis contents software development of PLC and IPC. The software for IPC is developed by King View, which can realize many functions such as process display, alarming, history querying, etc. The software for PLC is programmed by STEP-7, which completes data transferring and auto-control arithmetic function. The application design of fuzzy control technology in the process control of waste combustion was described, and was validated in MATLAB simulation environment. The control system uses PID controlling artthmetic to design most automatic control loops, and to perform the adjustment of PID parameters.Finally, by discussing debugging and applying project, prove the feasibility of design. Sincerely hope it can provide an effective reference for similar projects.
