Research On The Vehicle Integrated Information System Based On Embedded Technology

As Chinese national economical construction and rapid development of industrial modernization, vehicles play an increasingly important role in the period of economic development. Auto Meter is an indispensable and important component of the vehicle which is responsible for recording all kinds of data, including the main speedometer, odometer, battery power, the voltage and current of motor, it is an important guarantee of automotive safety.Compared with traditional automotive equipments, the application of embedded automotive integrated display system makes parameters more clearly, intuitive, more informative, more intelligent, low power consumption and short development cycle. It is an important vehicle technology with the application of computer technology and it is the product of modern computer technology and equipment technology.This paper under the circumstance of vehicle's automatic control methods research one set of auto meter information systems which based on embedded system. According to the safety of vehicles, this paper determines the functions of vehicle-mounted display systems. This paper introduces embedded automotive integrated display system which based on S3C2410A development board and embedded operating system Windows CE.NET as embedded hardware and software environment. The system collects, processes, displays and alarms the status information of vehicles, such as battery voltage, speed and other parameters. Driver can operate to make the vehicle safe in accordance with the results of alarm processing. As the vehicle information display system has large amount of information, which means using touch-screen interface shows that the interface is free to switch. And the CAN interface is available in this system, it facilitate its role as part of a network of automotive electrical and automotive CAN bus articulated involved in data communications.Embedded computer technology which based on ARM9 as embedded hardward to build embedded automotive integrated display system takes a little space, so it is convenient for other vehicle interior to layout and setup. The system lay a flat-panel touch screen in front of driver, it shows the data of vehicle for traditional driving pattern and response to the working status and alarm with the form of graphical instructions and voice alarm signal.The use of the instrument digital interface, the meter seems clear and high accuracy. The system is easy to upgrade and expand.
