In order to solve the continuous space optimization problems,a chaos particle swarm optimization algorithm(CPSO) is proposed in this paper.With ergodicity,randomicity and sensitivity of the chaos optimization algorithm,it improves the basic particle swarm optimization and the action of its particle is based on the average local best position and the global best,one particle can acquire more information of the others to adjust its movement.After using the CPSO in some typical functions for optimization,the computer simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm has the capability of escaping from the local optimal solution and obtains the global optimal solution rapidly.Finally,this optimization is applied into the problems of parameters optimization and model identification based on thermal process.
