For the requirements of the light in laser marking,in this paper,LD side pumped solid-state laser is systematically studied and a complete experiment system is developed.In this paper,with using the way of the laser diode(LD) side pumping Nd:YAG crystal, designing the structure of flat-flat cavity cavity-type,when the cavity length is 384.3 mm and the working current is 16 A,the output laser power is stably obtained at 15.06 W.The technology of acousto-optical Q-switch,the design of water-cooled parallel approach which is the side-pumped module and acousto-optic Q switches for water-cooled at the same time is used.After using the technology of acousto-optical Q-switch,the effect of output power and electronic-optical conversion efficiency through laser output characteristics and different repeated frequency are obtained in the experiments.Finally,it is analyzed in theory.When the work current is 16A and the repeated frequency is 4 kHz,the stable 1064nm infrared laser with the the peak of power is 9605.8W and single pulse power 2.5mJ is obtained in the completed LD side pumped solid-state laser,which is fulfilled the basic requirements for laser marking.
