Analysis And Application Of WAP Protocols

With the fast developments of Internet and mobile communication, the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technique has maken great progress in recent years which connects Internet and the mobile equipments. WAP became the international standard for expressing and disseminating wireless information over mobile phone and other wireless terminal by virtues of its deep industrial and technological background. Being the industrial standard, WAP is of significant importance to the development of wireless application program and wireless data services. Therefore, it is necessary to study WAP protocol and its core technology as well as its application mobile internet.This thesis has in dept studies and analysis on key technologies for WAP core Protocol to adapt to wireless application .Based on the Studies and analysis of its core protocol and current status of WAP application, I simulates the system architecture of WAP gateway platformand also designs several components of the key technology for WAP gateway platform, including major analysis and studies on the key layer of WSP for protocol translation. At the end, This article offers a scheme which realizes the services of sending and receiving E-mails between the mobile phone and the LAN server.
