The Design And Implementation Of Wireless API Gateway Mobile Client SDK

With the rapid development of mobile Internet industry and the expandsion of the business, the network requests become more complex and the environment of the mobile network facing severe pressure. Although the speed of the mobile network has improved over the past few years, the diversity and difference of the network is more complex. The establishment of a unified API gateway service systems become the major Internet company’s top priority. The Wireless API gateway system (MTOP) can build a secure, stable and efficient API gateway service to provide reliable network services.The original API service of mobile Taobao is crude based on HTTP. It has no control over the network link. The instability risk of network reduced the network request success rate. So, we developed a unifed Wireless API gateway system (MTOP). The Mobile Client SDK of the system contains U1 presentation layer, business layer and core layer. It supports HTTP protocol, HTTPS protocol and SPDY protocol and can ensure the mobile network become more secure, stable and efficient.This thesis has been carried out working as follows:(1) Introduced the design framework of Mobile Client SDK and discussed technical characteristics and comparison between HTTP1.1 and SPDY protocol.(2) Analyzed the basic system requirements and discussed the general design concept according to the requirements. Described specific implementation details on MTOP network proxy module, APICache module, ConfigCenter module and Network quality probe module.
