Study On The Festival Report Of The Xinjiang Daily (Chinese Version) Since China Engaged In Reform And Opening-up

Festival report is an important report form which the media face during the festive season. The content of the festival report becomes more substantial especially after the implementation of "Golden Week". As the mainstream media in Xinjiang, the Xinjiang Daily gives full play to the strengths of the party newspaper, and shows through the festival report the changes taken place in economic, political, social, cultural and other fields in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. At the same time, the festival report play an important role on the spread of the local culture, the economic prosperity, and the promotion of stable and harmonious development of Xinjiang. Therefore, the festival report is also an important topic worth to research. In this paper, by applying the methods such as sampling, statistical analysis and content analysis, conveys a study on the festival report of Xinjiang Daily (Chinese version) in the three decades since reform and opening-up, and, by classfication, discusses the characteristics of wide-ranging festivals, and investigates the development and social function of festival reports of Xinjiang Daily (Chinese version) since the reform and opening-up.In the course of the study of these issues, this paper has also found some problems exist in festival reports of Xinjiang Daily (Chinese version), and then discusses how to break through the traditional way of festival coverage reports, and puts forward the suggestions to emphasis on three-dimensional coverage, to increase the number of people's livelihood news, to highlight the local festival reports and so on, hereby gives a full play of local festival reports of Xinjiang Daily (Chinese version).
