The coal mining industry is of high dangerous in China, and all kinds of accident constitute a serious threat to the safety of miners and the normal process of coal production. So developing a coal mining emergency rescue system is of important study significance on coal mine enterprise safety production, which can control the source of dangerous, rescue the victims on time, guide the underground miners' protection, investigate the reason of accident and estimate the damage etc. The paper is based on the coal mining disaster emergency rescue system of the sub-group of Pingdingshan Coal(Group) company Ltd., by the research on geographic information system and the technology on data mining based on association rule, design and implement the coal mining emergency rescue system.First, the paper making analysis and comparison of coal mining emergency rescue system research at home and abroad, according to the inadequate problems and actual situation of Pingdingshan the sub-group production, prompt the design ideas based on geographic information system and the technology on association rule data mining. Second, descript the key technology of the system design and implementation, analyze the disaster type which the emergency rescue system need to deal with, design the overall architecture and detailed functional modules about the system, introduce the organization and set-up of system databases. Third, introduce the development tools and running environment, and set the accident prediction and emergency rescue modules as examples, descript the implementation algorithm and steps in detail, set out performance analysis. At last according to the result and inadequate happened in the design process make a detailed description and summary.At present, the system has been put into operation in Pingdingshan the sub-group, analyze and transact a quantity of downhole data, constitute necessary plans on emergency rescue. It not only effectively ensures the safety production environment in downhole, but also provides experience which can be consulted in the coal mining emergency rescue industry in whole country.
