Research On Disciplinary System Of Intelligence Science Based On 'Intelligence'Paradigm

Intelligence Science, with a history of half a century, now has its own theoretical subjects and has established a foundational status among disciplines. However, many intelligence scholars have considered that Intelligence Science is yet a young and immature discipline. They have pointed out that inadequate theoretical researches, the undetermined study paradigm and the uncertain study objects are the main reasons. Problems such as the fragile and incomplete disciplinary systems appear.Disciplinary system, as the basis of a discipline, has played a big role in the development of a discipline. A complete disciplinary system is also a must of Intelligence Science with strong vitality.In recent years, intelligence study often relates with semantic 'intelligence'. With the reminiscence of the intelligence history and the strong need of decision support, more and more intelligence scholars realize that how important the 'intelligence' property is. 'Intelligence', as an ability of effective using information and knowledge, causes a heated discussion among intelligence scholars.This author discusses the disciplinary system of Intelligence Science based on the intelligence paradigm. The key ideas of the author are as follows:Relate intelligence with 'intelligence' of human beings.Put 'intelligence' as the study object of Intelligence Science.Use the scientific methods to study the question field of Intelligence Science.In this thesis, the author discusses the disciplinary system of Intelligence Science on the intelligence paradigm in six chapters.In the first chapter, the author expounds the background of the theory and reminisces with the related research of the disciplinary system of Intelligence Science. Also, the author puts forward the research plan and defines the research object.In the second chapter, the author points out the guiding role of the paradigm theory and introduces the study paradigms of Information Science. It paves the way for making the 'Intelligence' paradigm, a new paradigm of Information Science.In the third chapter, the author wants to find out the scientific theory support on the establishment of the disciplinary system and to discuss the questions such as 'what is a discipline', 'what composes a disciplinary system' and 'how does a discipline look like'. Through these questions, the author wants to discover the ways including 'Process' way of establishment of the disciplinary systemThe fourth chapter is the key part of the thesis. In this chapter, the author analogizes the intelligence process and the 'intelligence' process to find out the identity property of both processes. This purpose of this chapter is to demonstrate that the 'intelligence' paradigm of Intelligence Science is an inherent, original view of intelligence'.The author establishes a disciplinary system of Information Science on 'intelligence' paradigm in the fifth chapter and points out the branches of Intelligence Science.In the last chapter, the author summarizes the primary research and points out the shortages in the thesis. At the end of the thesis, the author forecasts the future of the research on the disciplinary system of Intelligence Science.
